State Representative David Allen Welter, R-Morris, will be hosting a blood drive in partnership with the Versiti Blood Center of Illinois from 2:00pm – 6:00pm on Thursday, May 28th at 1715 N. Division Street, Suite D in Morris, the suite adjacent to Welter’s district office.
As a safety precaution, donations will be by appointment only (no walk-ins) and face coverings will be required. To make an appointment, please click HERE.
“There continues to be a severe blood shortage in Illinois amidst the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Welter. “To host this blood drive at this time, we are taking into account all the necessary safety precautions for volunteers, donors and staff. Our community has already come together in so many ways to help each other out. This is just one more way we can continue to do that, and in this case we can help save lives.”
Spots are limited for blood donation, so interested residents should make an appointment as soon as possible.
With questions, constituents can contact Representative Welter’s district office at (815) 416-1475.
